Job Description:

Duties for this position will include:
Responsible forcapturing business requirements to meet LCRA reporting needs.
Responsible forcreation of a Reporting Strategy deliverable to define the scope of OracleReporting data warehouse changes to meet LCRA reporting requirements.
Provide input toproject management to estimate the level of effort required to execute thescope of work defined in the Reporting Strategy.
Responsible fordocumenting a Fit/Gap analysis in a requirements traceability matrix todescribe if business requirements are met by the out-of-the-box capabilities ofthe Oracle reporting applications included in the Reporting Strategy.
Responsible forcreating detailed ETL Functional Design Documents (FDD), ETL Interface Mappingsand ETL Technical Design Documents (TDD) for all data to be extracted from LCRAPeopleSoft and Maximo applications.
Responsible forunderstanding any unique business process needs of LCRA and how they are bestfacilitated by the Oracle Reporting data warehouse applications.
Responsible forplanning UAT, while coordinating and driving the resolution of any and alleProcurement defects.
Responsible foridentification, documentation, and reporting of project risks to ProjectManager and Project Team to determine the appropriate response strategy withthe project manager;
Leads meetingsto define the Reporting Strategy with subject matter experts (SME Continuesworking with SME throughout project including assigning and monitoring tasks,prioritizing, and optimizing implementation efforts;
Responsible forany modifications to security for Oracle Reporting Data Warehouse includingchanges to user roles, and access permissions.
Plans, executesand coordinates with the LCRA SME in meetings between stakeholders, EFORproject resources, and senior managers to ensure overall completeness, accuracyand quality of the end product;
Works with thetechnical team to design, and test modifications to the existing reportingsolution, including data conversions, reports, ETL interfaces and reportingrepository;
Responsible forexecution of all reporting mock data conversions, and the resolution of therelated defects prior to any test cycle (System, Integration, User Acceptanceand Go-Live) scheduled throughout the project.
Responsible towork with the Technical Team to identify and document application performancetest plans and test scenarios, and support building scripts and to addressquestions in execution of those performance tests.
Possesses Oraclereporting tool expertise of the following applications: Informatica and ODIETL, Oracle Business Analytics, Smartview, and Hyperion Essbase.
Responsible forconsistent use of project standardized processes and forms to manage projectdocumentation, including but not limited to, Functional Design Documents, KeyDesign Decisions, Change Controls, Risk and Issue log, Scope Documentation,Configuration Documentation, Business Process Flows and other project documentsas needed;
Responsible for supportingtraining and organizational impact activities including training plan,organizational impact assessment, training content and prepping training teammaterials before they are presented;
Takes anownership role in the overall creation of the Oracle reporting solution relatedproject delivery and milestones with LCRA SME/Business Owners and Project Team;
Works with LCRAEnterprise Financial Operations Re-engineering (EFOR) project Project Managerand Team Leads to identify, record, and mitigate risks while resolving issuesthroughout implementation as needed;
Completes tasksin an efficient and timely manner while keeping project stakeholders informed;
Responsible forsupporting deployment activities including an eProcurement module cutover plandeployment checklist and back-out plans for the Oracle reporting solution;
Provides variousadministrative services and reports necessary to control the project budget,schedule, scope and quality.

The worker should have a history ofsuccess leading reporting teams for Oracle Business Intelligence reportingapplications using project management best practices.

MUST HAVE:

10yrs Experience as an Oracle Reporting Lead for multiple large Oracle Financial reporting projects.
10yrs Experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) solutions with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) for PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain
10yrs Experience documenting requirements, and tracking the test completion of requirements throughout project SDLC lifecycle
10yrs Experienced defining and implementing solutions to meet requirements to retain historic transactional data, and align the historic data with future financial transactional data
10yrs Experience writing detailed reporting Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Technical Design Documents (TDDs), build, unit test.
10yrs Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization, including collaborating effectively on diverse teams
10yrs Experience with Microsoft Suite (Projects, Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point)
10yrs Ability to alter project direction based on Project Manager or Executive Sponsor direction.
8Yrs Experience defining Reporting Strategy to describe how existing OBIEE, OBIA, Essbase and data warehouse would be modified to implement a Chart of Accounts change for financial transactions
8yrs Experience designing and building data integrations to a data warehouse using ETL tools such as Informatica and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
8yrs Experience with data warehouse functional and technical design changes for data model, end-user reporting repository, and end-user reporting changes to meet business, functional and technical requirements
8yrs Experience performing reporting System Test, Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test
5yrs Experience conducting design sessions with subject matter experts and business process owners to meet business requirements.
5yrs Experience collecting and modifying Report Inventories to determine the data model required to support reporting requirements
5yrs Experience designing, building, testing and deploying end-user security for Oracle Business Intelligence Applications
5yrs Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence reporting application performance optimization considerations including design, performance test, performance monitoring, performance tuning, including ETL, and report generation

NICE TO HAVE:
3yrs Public sector experience with a Utility or Energy Based company
3yrs Experience in designing, creating, and overseeing data warehouse solutions with Maximo Work Management, Asset Management and Inventory Management data
