8+ years of Enterprise experience QA and Big data testing.
4+ years of Experience of Big data testing exposure. Exposure to DWBI and ETL testing.
Hands-on experience in testing Hadoop based applications and be familiar with Big data tools like Hadoop, MapReduce, Apache Spark, SQOOP, Kafka, Talend, Cloudera HUE, HIVE etc.
Experience with Testing Real time event processing systems like Kafka, AWS Kinesis etc.
Knowledge of data flows, data architecture, ETL and processing of unstructured data
Exposure to Hbase, Hive, Kafka, Spark SQL, S3, Cloudera tools like HUE, Impala etc. Strong knowledge in SQL to write complex queries to verify data
Understanding of Data migration testing & Data Quality checks
Experience in Microservices testing
Solid understanding of common software development practices and tools.
Experience in working Agile projects, Used to JIRA, familiar with CICD integration and Test automation, Jenkins etc.
Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, Version control and Defect Management systems
Experience defining strategies, planning, UAT criteria and performing all test related activities
Ability to map functional requirement with technical design and ensure the complete workflow is tested understanding the impact of dependent modules
Experience in writing both positive & negative scenario test cases for Information accuracy
