We have an urgent requirement with our direct client

Position: Senior Business Analyst(s) - 3
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Duration: 2-3 years
NOTE: Copy of H1B and driving license required
Please do not submit resumes without MMIS exp. Candidate must have minimum 9 years of expereince as Business Analyst.

Responsible for the business aspects of information systems to include business processes, functionality, and data.
Develops, analyzes, and documents requirements.
Performs business process decomposition and modeling.
Collaborate and coordinate effectively with IT and business team members.
Must break down business requirements to translate into functional, actionable tasks.
Ensure tasks are thorough and well documented in JIRA.
Work closely with QA on business requirements.
Participate in problem solving.
Participate in quality assurance testing as necessary, including developing and maintaining automated test cases and scripts.
Must develop and maintain test scenarios, identify and document program deficiencies, ensure all user requirements have sufficient test coverage, validate all test scenarios are properly executed and tracked.
Generate issues or bug reports to address any failures identified during the process.

Experience Required
Experience in Medicaid Management Information System implementation
These individuals must have senior level experience working with agile software development processes with rapid iteration cycles (2-weeks
Candidates should be experienced with key development practices inherent to effective agile development and continuous integration.
Candidates will work on-site with the software development team.
Must be available and adhere to team work schedules.
Candidates will employ industry best practices to technology project management.
They should also be proficient in the general tools used in the Department: Office 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Project 2016/PWA, and VISIO.
A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems or related field OR four (4) years of directly relevant experience, any combination of education from an accredited college or university and relevant professional experience in a related field totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Qualified Personnel should also possess any necessary professional certification(s) in their relevant field.
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
The ability to leverage knowledge of theory, principle, practices, or technology in the relevant discipline(s) or field of specialization;
The ability to present ideas across multiple audiences and environments using business-friendly and user-friendly language;
Be highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail;

The ability to work well with teams and communicate with variety of stakeholders; and

Business Analysis IT Services Required

Contractor will provide complete development and support of the portal applications created, maintained, and owned by the agency.
Contractor will perform standard project analytical work related to small to medium information systems and business processes, translate business needs into requirements, and perform business process modeling.
Contractor will assist with managing backlog and ensure all tasks are thorough and defined for development team.
Contractor will provide business insight into the system design process and apply foundational business analytics tools and methodologies.
Contractor will provide business aspects of information systems which would include business processes, functionality, and data.
Contractor will advise technical staff and management of any technical options to improve ongoing business analysis and quality analysis of web portal services.
Contractor will coordinate its services with all stakeholders including Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) analysts, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) analysts, and business owners to ensure that all goals are achieved.

Onsite System Services
Contractor will participate as a member of the development team in daily scrums, code review, design sessions, backlog meetings and weekly summary meetings.
Contractor will collaborate and coordinate effectively with IT and business team members, translating between business and technical staff to derive clarity from ambiguity.
Contractor will participate in user acceptance testing, assist in upgrades and patching and participate in development of test plans.
Contractor will contribute to continuous quality improvement of internal systems and solution delivery processes.
Contractor will participate in software testing to include planning, constructing, and executing automated tests, product tests, systems tests, unit tests, load tests, volume tests, network tests as well as integration with release control process.
Contractor will participate in building systems domains, object/data models, wire frames, prototypes, flowcharts, and use cases.
Contractor will provide monthly status reports to Agency describing all tasks, activities completed for the reporting period for HSD review and acceptance.

Documentation and Reports
Contractor will document the work provided in a fashion to enable knowledge transfer at the end of this contract.
Contractor will document all work tasks in agency systems (such as Atlassian JIRA or other agile tools
Contractor will advise development team as it performs code reviews at each Sprint and share work information or knowledge transfer in that forum.
Contractor will support the documentation of code as developed and modified and submit for acceptance and approval to the Application Development Manager.
Contractor will coordinate with other application support staff to contribute coding and design work to all modules during Sprint cycles.
