Description:
The role of the Web Programmer/ MuleSoft Developer is to provide temporary website development support to the PSEG-LI program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Creates and maintains web based systems for Energy Solutions group. Works with analysts, testers and other members of the IT team to refine requirements and implement solutions.

-Assists with requirements development, adding input particularly around system requirements.
-Troubleshoots and finds fixes for problems, sometimes under time constraints.
-Assists in planning for deployments and roll-out.

-Contributes to meetings and communication with other members of the team to share problems, solutions and ideas.

-Works on data capturing and analysis capabilities that are compatible with HPXML (Home Performance Extensible Markup Language (HPXML) is an open data standard created to support the home performance industry by facilitating communication and the exchange of information and data on residential building and energy performance
-Collaborates with senior developers, DevOps and analysts.

Basic Qualifications
-3 years of MuleSoft ESB developer experience
-Hands-on experience and knowledge of implementing APIs on EBS using REST/web services
-Experience developing software against documented third-party APIs and working with vendors to identify and correct issues and drive enhancements
-Experience with building, deploying and managing API implementations and API proxies
-Experience with MuleSoft-hosted Anypoint Platform to design, build, deploy, manage, and govern basic APIs.
-Experience with Anypoint Studio to build, test, and debug basic integrations and API implementations.
-Experience with connecting to a range of resources including databases, files, web services, SaaS applications, and JMS queues
-5+ years of .NET and IIS development
-Implement User Interface, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), accessibility, usability, and performance best practices with equal importance
-Strong understanding of web services programming Integration experience with web services and API
-Strong development skills in: C#, XHTML, HTML 5, PHP, SQL, JavaScript/JQuery, and CSS

Desired Skills
-Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) version 2016, knowledge and experience with upgrade procedures desirable
-Working knowledge of cloud environments in AWS or Azure
-A good understanding of DevOps practices and Agile Software Development practices.

Education and Experience Minimums
-B.A. or higher degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, plus a minimum of four years equivalent experience.
-3 years of hands-on experience on MuleSoft API management and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
-5+ years of .NET and IIS web development
