Job Description :
Position: IBM WebSphere Portal Stack Developer/Lead
Location: Columbus, OH
Interview: Phone & Skype
Duration: 6+ months with possibility of extension (s)

Position Summary:
Years of Experience: 5+ years

Develop web sites in IBM WebSphere Portal 8.5 and Web Content Management System.
Develop web applications in the Portal 8.5 Environment.
Conduct training session with other resources on entering content.
Work with the team to Develop WCM components such as Menus, Navigator, Workflows, JavaScript Components.

Work with the team to maintain and develop themes and skins.
Understand the Deployment of Codes and WCM Syndication in Multiple environments.
Good understanding of IBM Portal Server (Websphere), Web Content Mgmt (WCM), Web. Application Server (WAS) , Deployment Manager, and IBM HTTP servers.

Good understanding of Portal and WAS cluster environment.
Strong background in Java development and Portlet development.
Strong understanding on MVC Framework.
Strong understanding of CSS and Scripting Technologies and responsive design.

Strong Web Services Development.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good understanding of Agile development lifecycle and methodology.
Exposure to JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, e.g. JQuery.
Knowledge of UNIX and Unix scripting.
