Position: Node. JS Developer
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
Interview: Phone & Face 2 Face
Duration: Long Term with possibility of extension (s)

Position Summary:
Requires prior experience building scalable cloud based web applications and diligence in creating the perfect API.

Prior experience collaborating with 3rd party partners, and understand the full capacity and potential of what this work can provide to your customers.

Responsibilities:
Write server side code for the integration of 3rd party devices into enterprise ecosystem.
Design, develop and implement highly scalable, resilient and robust cloud-based services to facilitate support for this very robust product.
Manage development, continuous integration and deployment for various microservices in the platform.
Work closely with QA to create automated application level test suites.
Apply industry best-practice software standards and technology to complex business problems.

Collaborate with other teams in and outside company to create and develop scalable solutions that integrate well with the existing ecosystem.
Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal and external audiences and develop prototypes quickly.
Potential for travel to maintain good collaboration with teams at the company headquarters in Philadelphia.

Required Qualifications:
3-6 years software programming experience in mainstream programming languages.
2 years of Node.js.
Experience in developing cloud based web services and ability to design for performance, reliability and scalability.
Experience working in large-scale production deployments, performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Experience in designing software architecture for high volume applications.
Experience in designing, developing and maintaining APIs for web services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field.
Solid foundation in software design and algorithms with strong analytical and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Software programming experience.
Master’s degree in Computer Science or any related field.
Experience in Web Applications development.
Experience in cloud deployments with AWS/Azure/GCP.
Experience in data streaming and creating data pipelines with Kafka/Spark or similar.
Open Source contributions.
Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical audience.
Internet of Things (IoT) interest or experience.
