Position: AEM Engineering Manager/Architect
Location: Miami FL
Interview: Phone & Skype
Duration: 6+ months with possibility of extension (s)

Position Summary:
Open a seasoned Engineering Lead to help us mature in our abilities to deploy resilient, performant, and nimble content-based Microservices.
This role requires an experienced leader who is comfortable both in a hands-on capacity and also at a higher level of technology leadership which oversees a technology delivery team, identifies opportunities for improvement, both in the existing code base and future development.

This leader is both passionate about technology, capable with code at their fingertips, as well as adept in motivating and coaching others.
It is a person who is focused on building and growing a high performing team that is more than the sum of its parts.

This technologist should be comfortable across the technology stack with specific experience with Content Management, Microservices Development, Document Databases and NoSQL, and sound DevOps Practices.

10+ Years in managing technology delivery teams
5+ Experience leading, coaching and motivating technology teams.
2-5 of experience Microservices Development in Java.

2-5 Years experience with containerized Microservices deployment.
Experience with caching technologies like Apache HTTPD and AEM Dispatcher desired.
Experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager) especially deployed in a. headless manner desired.

Experience with Deployment of distributed systems and building for failure.
Experience with Reactive, Event-Driven and Asynchronous Coding Patterns.
Has experience working with data streaming technology such as Apache Kafka desired.

Strong Solr, Elastic Search and Document DB experience.
Hands on experience reviewing code, setting engineering standards, reviewing and improving code quality.
