TITLE- Sr. Embedded Software Developer
LOCATION- Pittsburgh, PA

Sr. Embedded Software Developer
Required Skills/ Knowledge:
10+ years of experience with full life-cycle software development: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support in an agile environment.
Must have practical experience working with multi-process, fully distributed systems.
Excellent C++ programming skills.
Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles.
Extensive knowledge of developing software in a Linux environment, including writing and modifying shell scripts.
Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
Prior experience using version control software.
Must be able to handle working in a dynamic environment with parallel responsibilities and flexible priorities.
Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner while producing quality work.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must be self-motivated and able to self-teach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Practical experience and understanding of supporting a mission-critical, production system.
Desired Skills/ Knowledge:
Prior experience in control systems or embedded systems
Experience with C, X, Motif, and Java
Working knowledge of SQL databases
