Job Description:
As a consulting Software Engineer, candidate will be working on a new customer-facing web application using cutting-edge open source frameworks, highly-available RESTful services, and progressive back-end systems. Will also get an opportunity to work in emerging and traditional technologies such as: node.js, Java, AngularJS, React, REST, JSON, XML, HTML5, CSS, NoSQL databases, relational databases, Hadoop, Chef, and AWS/Cloud Infrastructure to name a few
Job Responsibilities:
Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
Continuously improve software engineering practices using your mastery of UI domain, software, standards and languages
Work within and across our Agile team to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions
Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, espousing standards across the team
Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
The ideal candidate will be able to:
Grasp new technologies rapidly as needed, to progress varied initiatives
Build robust systems with an eye on the long-term maintenance and support of the application
Breakdown complex integration issues and resolve them
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6) experience
At least 5 years of experience with Angular2
At least 5 years of experience with SASS / LESS
At least 3 years of experience in Application Development and responsive design
At least 3 years of experience converting artistic design into code
At least 3 years of experience with automated testing tools (Jasmine, Protractor, etc
At least 2 years of experience in developing and interfacing with RESTful API services
At least 1 year of experience with resource optimization and accessibility
At least 1 year of experience with Git/Github
