ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This role will report to the LIBOR Transition Program Director / Lead and will be accountable for the core responsibilities identified below.
It will require the leadership and coordination of various functional resources in the delivery of new products, processes, documents, procedures and technology.
The Program Manager will be expected to coordinate strategy execution and cross-functionally engage the various business segment project teams and stakeholders to advance multiple, major corporate strategic initiative regarding the transition of LIBOR for this critical workstream.
To be successful the candidate must be driven and well-organized. It is essential for the individual to be self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and drive the project team to complete tasks on agreed schedules.
Management will look to this individual to drive the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of their assigned workstream projects and to provide thought leadership and mentorship to junior members of their project management team.
This individual is expected to help lead relationships with the business, cross-impacted IT teams, and 3rd Party Vendors for their assigned workstream and must possess the ability to push back when required. In conjunction with senior business management, proactively identify project interdependencies across initiatives and business units as well as manage and influence issue resolution.
Advise on, make recommendations and develop solutions for stakeholders on issue execution to ensure timely implementation of initiative.
Articulate goals, allocate resources, and manage workflow.
Position requires strong judgment and influencing, communication and negotiating skills. Operate cross-functionally at all levels of the organization.

KEY JOB DESCRIPTION:-
* Manage 4 Business Segment Product Development, Rate Implementation and
Pricing Strategy Sub-Projects for Derivatives, Commercial and Business Loans, Mortgages and Auto Business segments
* Manage the develop end-2-end current state workflow maps for
Derivatives, Commercial and Business Loans, Mortgages and Auto
* Manage the development of the "To-Be" Future State Dual and Multi
Rate workflows and process maps for parallel product issuances for above business segments
* Lead the analysis and documentation of the Gap Analysis and aggregate
new product process maps with the business analyst and assigned project teams
* Lead the development of a "Master Product Re-design" that includes the
scheduling of development and production timelines to align with business segment product priorities as well as market and regulatory developments.
* Close partnership with the business segment leaders in this workstream
as well as supporting segment functions to meet the objectives of key work streams as well as engagement with other workstreams across multiple functions including; technology, operations, market risk, client strategy & outreach, risk management, legal contract management, model landscape, process and operations, industry and regulatory, etc.
* Capture and document the firms'' risks related to the LIBOR transition:
* Manage the implementation of the Pricing Strategy and Product Issuance
for Derivatives, Commercial Loans, Business Loans, Auto Loans and Mortgages
* Conduct product pricing impact analysis for new ARRs, consider key
risks (e.g, basis risk) + transition scenarios for all above named business segments
* Develop implementation readiness plans with collaboration from IT and
3rd party vendors.
* Working with functional leads and front-to-back stakeholders in the
development of workstream strategy and delivery.
* Actively facilitate and participate in the analysis and review of
program and project deliverables and acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
* Works with business segment manager(s) and program/project sponsors to
establish the project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule and ensures on-time completion of timelines and deliverables.
* Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical
performance of programs.
* Objectives planning, defining scope and deliverables, budget
development and tracking
* Project plan development including activity planning, sequencing and
resource management
* Oversee the creation and approval of core project documentation
including business requirements and functional requirements, system /technical specifications, and user acceptance testing.
* Schedule and facilitate program and project meetings and documentation
of all required meeting materials
* Risk and issue identification, communication and resolution
* Responsible for working with and leading the workstream program /
project team to drive the overall coordination, execution, control and completion of assigned efforts
* Create workstream status report with other bank departments /
affiliates and 3rd Party Vendors
* Work with IT Segment Leadership to identify cross impacted resources
across portfolio to identify any potential issues or roadblocks
* Consistently create and submit accurate program and project status
reports on time
* Lead the management of program / project change, risk and issue
management
* Ensure all risks and issues are documented and escalated appropriately
* Consistently update / maintain program / project information in
designated project management tools or repositories.
* Facilitate and work with program and project team members to meet
established target dates and completion of activities/deliverables under changing and dynamic conditions
* Actively and effectively communicate with program senior leadership
team members
* Ensure all aspects of the program and project documentation is
created, reviewed, and approved by the required individuals
* Actively facilitate and participate in release activities for the
program / projects
* Ensure activities are completed in support of the program / project''s
warranty period
* Understand and consistently follow the bank''s project lifecycle
methodology
* Work with minimal to no supervision with latitude for independent
judgement and problem solving

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 7+ years of experience as a Program / Project Manager or equivalent
related Banking of Finance Industry project experience
* 7+ years in the financial services or banking industry
* Experience leading teams through process reengineering and workflow
development
* Experience leading large, cross-functional information technology
programs and projects
* Aptitude in both business and technology, with the ability to draw
conclusions based on correlating data
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to explain
project risks and issues, and IT related concepts clearly and concisely to multiple layers of peers and leadership
* High motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision
making, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple
priorities and effectively prioritize them
* Ability to provide strong program and project leadership during
periods of uncertainty, ambiguity, and change
* Willingness and drive to learn and understand detailed software
solutions
* High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build
credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships
* Ability to initiate and facilitate change, whether indicated by
corporate needs, market or regulatory requirements

* BS/BA Bachelor''s Degree in Finance or equivalent required

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience leading data intensive, data warehouse and/or master data
management programs.
* Any understanding of LIBOR driven products and/or how LIBOR as a
benchmark rate operates and drives products would be extremely preferred.
* In-depth knowledge of banking products that transacts across different
groups within the financial industry
* Any knowledge of interest rate derivatives and fixed income markets,
commercial banking and business loans and product development would be advantageous.
* Any prior experience in treasury or a relevant field (for example,
Risk Management, Funding, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets) a plus
* Financial industry experience, preferably in Commercial banking
