Job Description:
This contract position requires hands-on development experience with the SAP UI5 and the Fiori application. The consultant must have experience with design, build, configure, test, and manage activities, specifically creating custom UI5 solutions from scratch.
SAP UI5 Developer for a contract position on an SAP S/4 HANA Implementation
SAP UI5 Developer Skills:
Developing and configuring OData Services using ABAP
Creating custom Fiori applications from scratch
UI development using WebIDE on Hana Cloud Platform and Eclipse
Expertise in SAP UI5 controls and Fiori design patterns and controls (Catalogs, Groups, Semantic Objects, Target Mappings)
SAP UI5 Developer Responsibilities:
Understand the business context of client requirements and recommend best practice solutions accordingly.
Collaborate with a cross-functional implementation team to ensure that work delivered meets client requirements and standards.
Ensure great test coverage for your code and support the team in completing root cause analysis, providing solutions for development issues, and avoiding any regressions.
Execute test plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts.
Additional Skills to bring to the project:
Experience in extending SAP Fiori applications
Expertise in SAP Fiori Launch pad configuration and app integration
Strong expertise in Analytical apps (Custom development), Factsheet, configuring Enterprise Search on HANA
Fiori for mobile deployment, SMP & Afaria related technologies (nice to have)
Expertise in UI Theme designer
Expertise in HTML5, Java Script, JQuery, CSS3, JSON and XML
Experience in exposing CDS views (standard and custom) as Fiori tiles and building reports and dashboards
Understand key differentiations between Native Apps, WebGUI based apps and WDA apps
Experience in XML Views
Experience in Hub and Embedded Deployment
Understanding Backend and Frontend security roles for Fiori
Configuration and development SAP HANA analytical KPI applications
Gateway integration with other non S/4 applications
Setting up FIORI landscape and deployment FIORI applications to Production
Developing SAP UI5 Fiori for using mobile device native features with Cordova plugins and Kapsel on Fiori client (nice to have)
