Job Description:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for scheduling and coordinating all planning sessions, daily scrums, retrospective follow-ups and release deliveries for QA team (stays on top of the product backlog and the grooming process)Coach QA team members embedded in Agile software delivery teams.
Work with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development team leadership to ensure that QA deliverables are being met and status is being communicated effectively.
Create and maintain Test Strategy and Test Planning artifacts for various Elevate products.
Oversee the creation of Automated Tests for both UI and non UI areas.
Work with Development team leaders and Dev leads to ensure quality is being built into software deliverables.
Participate in project scheduling activities and associated risk analysis and mitigation.
Supervise the tactical execution of QA deliverables.
Analyze test run results and make adjustments to test plans/strategy documents as needed.
Publish quality metrics and dashboards.
Be a catalyst and strong force for continued improvement in QA processes.
Promote and continue to bring in industry best practices and tooling.
Enhance and Review cross project system level defects and ensure they are adequately communicated and dispositioned.
Promote understanding of QA process and methodology to key stakeholders.
