Sr. Mobile Device Software Developer (Android & IoS)
Duties:
Define, design, build, test, deploy, and supports software systems. Lead and develop technical and business systems related activities of major significance to the Customer. Responsible for assisting in the business proposal process. Provides application programming/systems development and support for complex systems. Develop intermediate and detailed schedules that support the high-level master schedule and understands the interrelationships among the various levels of schedules. . Develops project management deliverables required to support a request for proposal or quotation. Evaluates Customer business, technical architecture processes, and objectives using the business enterprise models. Leads in the application of the organizational change management process to facilitate a smooth Customer implementation.
Qualification:
Bachelors in Computer science with over 3 + plus years of proven experience in developing software in Mobile for Android and iOS (iPhone & iPad) or other mobile platform.
Contribute to the development of new Telematics/Infotainment applications that are downloaded directly to in-vehicle infotainment systems.
Responsible for entire product development lifecycle in order to define, design, develop, and deliver groundbreaking applications that re-define the driving experience.
Test drive code, perform root cause analysis, technology evaluation and design spikes.
Automotive experience desired.
Skills:
- Experience with native Android UI design, writing Android client for Web Services (REST, RPC, or SOAP)
- Experience with multithreaded development in Android, Object Oriented Design and SQLite on Android.
- XML parsing and DOM traversal, Understanding of Handlers, AIDL, AsyncTask and BroadcastReceiver.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies. Android UI/UX guidelines.
- Experience with Google API’s, Bluetooth, NFC, Vehicle data (CAN messaging & Signals) along with media playback and streaming voice music.
- Promote improvement in programming practice such as test-driven development, continues integration and test automation.
