Xamarin Mobile Developer

Seeking a Xamarin Mobile Developer to join our team. The Xamarin Mobile Developer works with a global team to create cross-platform mobile applications for iOS, Android and Windows platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to design, develop and test applications using Xamarin, Microsoft Azure, and a responsive web technology stack including ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Creates engaging applications using the Xamarin Framework including Xamarin.Forms, Xamarin.Android, and Xamarin.iOS
Works with project stakeholders to clarify requirements or user stories
Works with architecture team to create technical designs
Prepares reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of the application
Communicates issues with team lead and other stakeholders in a timely manner so as to limit project timeline and cost impacts
Accepts ownership for application components and assures quality delivery
QUALIFICATIONS
5 to 7 years of experience working in a software development team setting on Microsoft technologies
Minimum of 1 year of experience with ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, and JavaScript
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, release, and documentation
Experience with Xamarin, Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions, Entity Framework, WCF and/or Web API, Bootstrap, and AngularJS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of object-oriented principles (OOP) and design patterns/practices
Solid grasp of the Agile software development methodology
Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS)
Xamarin Certification is a plus
EDUCATION
Bachelor''s degree in related field or work related experience.
