Job Description: Seeking an analyst with good understanding of distributed platforms (Windows and Linux) with strong understanding of Red Hat Linux, Web, Application and Database farm administration and support.
Major Responsibilities:
The Senior Linux Administrator resource shall have the following:
Minimum of 7 years of hands on experience supporting Linux servers
Expertise in supporting Red Hat, Fedora, CentOS on VMWare
Expertise in hardening OS and applying security best practices
Strong understanding of monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning
Strong experience with Ansible for monitoring, automation, build, deploy, patching, of OS and applications.
Strong experience with Python, Perl and bash scripting.
Must have strong understanding of VMWare, Windows, Amazon, Network, Containers and storage.
Must have excellent communications skills and ability to document and teach others.
