SQL DBA
Responsibilities: SQL Server DBA will be responsible for working on multiple environments and projects. Responsibilities include production support of the database environments (including rotational 24/7 on-call support), strong communication skills (both verbal and written), RDBMS installation and maintenance. Under minimal supervision, DBA will be responsible for migrations, upgrades, proactive monitoring, maintenance, resolving technical issues, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years Microsoft DBA with strong migration experience.
Experience with SQL Server 2008/R2, 2012, 2014
Experience working in a 24x7 environment.
Must possess excellent communication skills for team projects and client communication.
Strong analytical skills for problem resolution, performance tuning and backups.
