QA ANALYST
· Location: Lansing, MI
· Duration: 12 months+
· Start: as soon as identified
· Interview: Skype or in-person if local
The Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee the planning, developing, testing, and evaluation of software applications and systems for reliable functionality. This includes close collaboration with the functional teams and business program manager to develop thorough technical test strategies and create detailed test plans.
DUTIES/SKILLS:
- Over 5+ years SWQA experience.
- High level project management skills
- Extensive knowledge of hardware/firmware/software, methodologies, tools and best practices
- Support continuous improvement of testing process and protocols.
- Create test documents procedures and process, design test plans.
- Document anomalies, issues, maintain database of software defects.
- Operate and maintain test networks.
- Ensure compliance with general UI/UX practices.
- Perform application security audits; implement design, creating scripts, web pages deliverables.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- 2+ years of experience working in the Utility Industry, preferred
- 2+ years of experience with Quality Assurance testing of SAP, Customer Information System (CIS), Geographic Information System (GIS), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Common Information Model (CIM), MultiSpeak, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR
