Job Description :
POST DAY Merger & Acquisition Project Manager

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Duration: Long term

this person to be 100% post day 1 activity from when the deal is made. We don’t want any Pre day 1 activity
This person will have the following skills:
-Good communication and the ability to be a natural mediator
-Ability to follow-up and be the intermediary between several large teams
-Planning portion of project is complete leading up to close of deal. Merger and Acquisitions / Divestiture experience across multiple TSA''s (Transfer Service Agreements) (post Day 1) is a plus but not required.
Oversee the acquisition agreements from an execution standpoint. TSA transfer service agreements coordinate across companies.
Initiative
Executive presence and talking with senior level management.
Business Acumen: Must have excellent follow up skills.
Not always well-defined as far as process goes first divestiture with 3M so will have to be very organized and attentive to detail.

REQUIREMENTS
5-10+ years of on-the-job high level Business Integration, M&A Post-Close Planning, or Operations Analyst/Coordination experience is required specifically execution, monitoring and close out of project.
Bachelor''s degree Business, Finance, or similar. Work experience is most important.
Certification as a project management professional (PMP) is a plus but not required. (Will accept Project Managers but not Senior Level/ Program Management/Director Level)

- Needs to be a good mediator
- Will need strong communication skills
- May be working with counterparts on the side of the merger
- M&A a plus not required

There are a a lot of varying personalities on how they like things at JCI and M&A material is highly critical and sensitive information. The info is concrete and someone joining the team needs to capture this level of detail, but be bigger picture oriented to drive the documentation timeline forward (project management skills


Team is very formal with corporate development and items being asked need to be done the right way. they are more conservative. More structured thinking, not creative thinking. They dont need to come up with content, content of transaction is given to their team.

o Understanding the transaction M&A deal.

Has to be project manager and communicate clearly. Understand structure and planning need to communicate that schedule.

They play conceptual role extensive PM but they have to go coortdinate input data print and write out.No, they need big picture and important tasks for today, tomorrow, and priority in order for what needs to be done its a mindset.

HR/communications is "fluffy" and example given was finance is particular and consise in understanding transactional information. they need that Finance straightforward type person structured approach and thinking.


Consultant mindset: ask questions, help recommend and define solutions, take initiative, push through project details. (not sit and wait for instruction)
