Big Data Analytics Technical Lead

Essential Function:
During customers’/client’s engagements the Lead will provide expertise in all stages of the full life-cycle
development process and assist in designing and implementing distributed applications, interfaces to
customers’ and partners’ business systems and user interfaces, as well as providing guidance in
developing systems for fault tolerance and performance.
Skill Required:
For this position we are looking for a senior software professional with excellent customer interaction
expertise, effective presentation skills, and hands-experience in most of the following:
Lead requirements gathering in customer engagements.
Lead the definition of large-scale distributed architectures based on Big Data technologies which
include Spark and HDFS clusters.
Experience with Kafka or similar message brokers.
Experience in development of Spark applications using Scala.
Experience in the definition of operational procedures for HDFS and Spark clusters.
Implementation of medium to large-scale distributed applications based on server-side software
platforms like J2EE application servers, EAI, BPM CEP packages and Big Data technologies.
Multiple server-side programming languages like Java, Java Script, Scala, etc.
Big Data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, etc.l
Integration technologies like Web Services, REST, JMS, etc.
XML and related technologies like XSD and XQuery.
Familiarity with relational databases like Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MS SQL Server and Operating
Systems like UNIX, LINUX and Windows Server.
Ajax, HTML5, DHTML, and CSS is desirable and will be considered as a plus.
Experience with SaaS, Cloud, PaaS is desirable and will be considered as a plus.
