JAVA/CORDOVA Developer
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: Long Term’
details on the new software opportunity. By the way, the customer name should be held in confidence until we get awarded the project.
Deploying 30,000 Zebra TC52 Android mobile devices over the next two years;
Customer has around 15 functions (one exe app) they want to migration from Windows CE devices to Android;
Customer has developed some consumer facing apps with Cordova, and is considering using the same platform for the new Android store apps;
Zebra does not have an SDK or EMDK for Cordova, only Xamarin;
Customer would like to develop in a hybrid solution using Cordova and Java;
Customer has large development staff, but is looking for staff augmentation because they don’t have much Android/Java experience;
Resources required on-site:
Cordova/Java Developer
The first function (app) needs to be in UAT by end of February;
The customer is in Milwaukee Wisconsin;
This is a T&M project for all 6 resources involved;
This project will more than likely go on for at least a year.
My ask is that you find experienced Cordova resources with Windows CE and Android experience, and the provide us with a rate card for onshore and offshore resources.
