We process very large volumes of batch and real-time streaming data and transform that data into information that powers critical decisions.

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team and develop high performance analytics on the cutting edge of application security by serving as an integral member of a small team of engineers responsible for developing the client’s security platform. You will be responsible for developing dashboards and reports related to our SaaS Application Security Platform and which turn into actionable information for our internal and external customers. You will be part of a team consisting of highly skilled data engineers, analysts, and database architects supporting our ambitious data goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and enhance embedded and standalone BI applications
Support the underlying data and schema for analytics
Ability to translate customer needs into clear and concise analytics that drive value

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science or Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in design and development of data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
3+ years of experience and strong knowledge of one or more reporting tools is required (Looker, Birst, Tableau, QlikView, or similar)
Experience with AWS a plus
Experience with MPP and columnar databases like AWS Redshift a plus
Hands on experience with multi-tenant and embedded analytics approaches
Experience with SQL (Oracle, Aurora, or MySQL)
3+ years of experience with SQL including writing complex queries to extract and analyze large volumes of data. Experience with PL/SQL Constructs like Stored Procedures, Functions and Packages a plus
Experience with Big Data methods, topologies and tools, such as Map/Reduce (e.g. AWS EMR), Apache Spark, etc., a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast paced and agile engineering environment
