Accessibility Tester WCAG 2.0, WAI, Section 508, ARIA)
Duration: Long Term
Location: REMOTE
To start, this person needs to have: knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG 2.0, WAI, Section 508, ARIA); accessibility auditing and testing tools and strategies including but not limited to VPAT and WCAG 2.0 validation toolsets. It would be helpful if they had knowledge of assistive technologies hardware and software on multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, iOS and Android; knowledge of designing and testing methodologies on each platform. Having someone who understands IT accessibility as it relates to the higher education environment would be ideal.
