Position : Java Developer
Location: Boston, MA
candidates must be US Citizen/GC holder/GC EAD/TN Visa/L2 visa and strong technically.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to design and implement software solutions for our IOT/Analytics platform.
* Passionate about Engineering Best Practices and delivering high-quality features on time.
* Execute in an Agile Software Development Lifecycle.
* Debug and write test code to meet/verify acceptance criteria.
* Support and enhance Continuous Integration pipelines for building software.
* Examine and evaluate new emerging technologies.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* 4+ years experience in Enterprise Java Software Development
* Experience with Java 8+ and Java Design Patterns
* Experience with multi-threaded, distributed server-side software development
* Experience analyzing code performance and implementing performance improvement
* Experience with APIs and web service technologies (REST, JAX-WS, JSON, etc
* Experience with build/automation tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle and Jenkins
* Experience with Docker containers
* Experience with Linux environments (Fedora, Ubuntu, CentOS)
* Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mocking Frameworks
* Understanding of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies a plus
* Relevant formal education, including BSCS or MSC
