Job Description
Provide Solution Architecture for Enterprise Business & IT Policy Administration outsourcing project.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Utilizing advanced business and technical knowledge, act as an advisor in addressing problem and design questions associated with system integration, system compatibility and processing across one or more business systems or platforms. Demonstrate a broad base of technical and business knowledge that can be leveraged across application teams.
Member of Architecture team to ensure application design and solutions meet the long-range needs of the business.
Participate in business requirements definition to align solution design and approaches to best
meet needs of the business.
Work with Solution peers to recommend and design system integration components.
Demonstrate a broad base of technical and business knowledge that can be leveraged across
application teams.
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
College Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, Network Engineering or Information Systems
5-10 years of relevant work experience in Life and Annuity Insurance industry
Experience working in several domains of IT and has experience with-reductions development, cloud architecture, server management, networking, or info security
Expert in multiple programming languages and systems, as well as systems design
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, architecture methodologies,
standards and tools
Strong blend of technical leadership and business knowledge; strategic view with tactical
implementation capability and understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles
Broad technology expertise and consulting skills; strong influential leadership competency.
The candidate needs to have solid analytical skills and to be precise with their communications, especially in active listening and eliciting information from others
Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills
Above average critical thinking and innovation capabilities; adaptive to changing business needs and approaches.
