Job Role: Unix Administrator
Location: Wichita, KS
Experience: 3+ Years
Type: Contract
Skills Required:
Candidate with at least 3 years of experience in UNIX system administration
UNIX system administration, including OS installation, configuration, maintenance, trouble-shooting, performance tuning, and system health monitoring in Oracle Solaris, Red Hat Linux environment and or IBM AIX.
Hardware / firmware upgrade and OS patching for Linux Servers.
UNIX Network and SAN storage/LUN management.
LDAP, Secure FTP/SFTP, SSL, Data Encryption and other system security hardening tools.
UNIX/Linux Server Virtualization.
UNIX shell scripting.
Veritas NetBackup or other Backup/Restore software.
IBM LSF Knowledge
Basic Oracle Database Knowledge
Understanding about Nagios
