Job Role: Build & Integration Engineer – VMware

Skills Required:
Strong Linux and Windows Operating Systems: System/Event logs, CLI scripting, performance metrics, management
Good knowledge of Cloud, Virtualization & Hypervisor technologies like KVM, ESXi, Hyper-V.
Good understanding of Cloud automation, Orchestration, Integration & Configuration management.
Experience in Read, modify and create scripts in Bash, CSH, and PowerShell, or queries in SQL.
Perform system tuning & testing activities where appropriate.
Good understanding of Remote Office Branch Office (ROBO) operations & system architecture.
Possess experience in managing and supporting VMWare based ROBO solutions.
Experience in build, install, configure and maintain VMware vSphere(ESXi), vCenter Server, vCloud Suite, NSX, VRealize etc.
Good understanding & hands-on of VXLAN, DVS & DVR & Edge components of VMware platform.
Advanced knowledge of ESXi Cluster administration using VCenter and VROPS.
Good experience of VM onboarding, VM migration, Image management & backup.
Good knowledge of central management tools VRealize, LogInsight, Microsoft SCOM & OMS etc.
Hands On experience of configuring & managing the network switches & their integration.
Understanding of Local Network configuration, VSAN configuration and tuning
Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of the entire Virtualization Infrastructure.
Any certification in VMware affiliated programs is a plus.
