RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for implementing processes, hardware and tools to support the product development lifecycle.
Work closely with the development, QA and project management teams to optimize the ongoing strategies from source control through to product delivery.
Implement SCM strategies and security.
Implement defect/work tracking workflows.
Ensure reproducibility, traceability and dependency management for all artifacts built by CM.
Develop the automated build, test and deployment processes for multiple development teams.
Assist development teams when breakages occur or changes are needed.
Document and communicate the processes to other teams.
Perform system admin on the COTS tools.
Ensure timely and effective delivery of automated systems patches, upgrades, and new configurations.
Troubleshoot server and COTS issues.
Participate in design sessions, architectural reviews and technical advisory roles as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Knowledge of Windows and Unix platform tools including perl, awk, sed, grep.
Demonstrable experience with scripting technologies.
Experience with administration of Source Control Management tools (TFS preferred
Experience with administration of defect/work tracking tools.
Understanding of continuous delivery and automated build methodologies.
Experience with automated build systems.
