Looking to hire a talented UX Researcher to support development for web and touchscreen products used by health care practices to manage patient care, treatment plans, and pharmaceutical inventories. Our core objectives are

The primary charge of this role is to elevate our product development group’s knowledge of our business and customers goals, in an ever-changing industry and tech climate, as well as advance our ability to communicate the value our work is providing to multiple parties.
This role is crucial to the ongoing digital and universal experience transformation commencement our company is initiating.
Secondary responsibilities include supporting the Experience Design team core goals of: supporting business goals, rapidly prototyping concepts, creating dynamic user interfaces, and applying cutting edge visual design treatment and front-end development.
Additionally, helping to innovate, conduct usability testing, and ensure quality assurance improvements are expectations of all hands.
This role reports to the Director of Experience Design.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Work with ITS Directors to capture and meet business goals
Work with the UX team, Product team, subsidiaries, practices, and end users to capture and address customer goals (via qualitative and quantitative research methods such as surveys, card sorts, observations, interviews, user testing, metric reviews, etc
Plan, manage and drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from analytics to communicate value we provide as well as prioritized areas of continued improvement
Work with IT architects and developers to improve automated usage data collection of use cases
Collaborate and support the Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams in addition to UX and Product teams
Conduct information architecture reviews against use case needs to improve overall UX workflows
Conduct research to better understand and address complete CX (Customer Experience) processes and pain points. Produce simple, easy to understand, prioritized data and tasks to address and improve overall Service Design (journey maps, workshops, etc On occasion develop UI design prototypes to communicate user usability improvement requests.
Document test scripts, findings, and next steps in various forms of media in a manner which is easy to digest, along with tasking in Microsoft VSO.
Stays abreast of new trends and produces proof of concepts to show design team what is possible.
Travel is estimated to be below 15%

Education
BS/MS degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Statistics, MIS, or related field of study. 2+ years of conducting usability tests and research projects.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Ability to conduct the duties and responsibilities mentioned above
Ideal team player personality: Candidate must be Humble, Hungry, and Smart.
Ability to work well with both technical and non-technical team members in both small and large settings particularly UX/UI designers, developers, QA, project managers, and executives on occasion.
Usability testing experience and/or certifications
Soft skills are a must! The individual for this role must be extremely empathetic. Willing to listen various disciplines’ and SMEs concerns to work to determine how to prioritize and resolve goals without bias or assuming another party doesn’t care or is wrong. You will be an important ambassador of the need for increased UX/CX therefore the ability to win people over via positive personality and data is crucial.
Rapid ability to conduct research and communicate results. Few if any deliverables for this role will allow for months of development and formatting such as is common with university or think tank research positions.
Experience with Visio, LucidCharts or other use case/workflow applications
Ability to manage and prioritize overlapping project work load and consistently meet deadlines (agile story and bug task management
Willingness to learn (from teammates and professional sources) as well as readily share your knowledge amicably
Strong organizational, writing, and verbal skills. Able to attend meetings, take notes, and ensure tasks are completed

Additional Desired Qualifications
Experience with prototyping tools such as UXPin, Axure, Invision, Balsamiq
Experience working in an agile environment, updating tasks in scrums, meeting commitments to support multiple groups.
Previous Product Development experience
Experience using video to improve communication
Experience with Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, etc. or other 3rd party data visualization application
Basic ability with Front End Development (such as CSS and HTML)
QA experience and/or certifications
Experience working with Team to build complex enterprise applications.
Familiarization of Agile methodologies is a plus particularly SAFe.
