Job Description :

Role: UX Engineer/Web GUI Developer
Location: Red Bank, NJ
Duration: 12 month to Contract to hire
Interview: Phone and Skype

Responsibilities
1. Lead the design and implementation of custom software for visualizing radio spectrum data and other scientific data. GUI is to be supported on major Web Browsers, while the application will run on Linux servers.
2. Advise on selection and configuration of third-party products required for development and deployment of the web GUI.
3. Contribute to system documentation.
4. Support integration and testing.
Requirements
1. Experience leading the design and implementation of modern web GUIs.
2. 5 Years’ experience developing complex web GUIs with JavaScript, CSS, and other HTML5 technologies
3. Experience with one or more modern front-end frameworks / GUI toolkits, such as Vue, Meteor, Bootstrap, AngularJS, or Sencha ExtJS
4. Experience with charting of scientific data and/or data display on geographic maps.
5. Experience with Git and Eclipse.
6. Experience developing for and in both Windows and Linux environments.
Desired experience
1. B.S. or M.S. in computer science, electrical engineering or closely related field
2. Experience developing using Python
3. Experience with REST APIs
4. Experience with AJAX
5. Experience with MongoDB
6. Understanding of basic radio frequency concepts and terminology
