UX Developer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce, review, and obtain approval of detailed design specifications.
Complete web and services development.
Conduct unit testing and obtains approval through code/test reviews.
Support QA testing for related development.
Support knowledge transition to appropriate support organizations.
Required Skills/Certifications:
Sr. Developer level with Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent
5 to 7+ years of experience in software design and development
Solid Java/J2EE, JMS, XML, XSLT, XQUERY, XSD, SOAP, REST, Spring Framework, WSDL development experience
Web services design and implementation (SOAP and RESTful)
Working experience on various operating systems/platforms (Unix, Windows)
Exposure to and understanding of development & service design concepts, model-driven service development, caching, etc.
Experience with Java-based web applications & environments is needed
Experience working with Oracle RDBMs
Experience in building applications & services for business/consumer-facing web applications
IBM DataPower experience desirable
Comprehensive IT analytical skills, strong problem analytical skills,
Interact with the operations and QA teams for deployment of software version updates and, where appropriate, code promotion and production support
Interact with AMS team for knowledge transfer support
Experience in building and reviewing design documentation in the area of Application & Service Development
Automotive Experience is desired
