Job Description :
Primary Responsibilities
Lead interactive design efforts for Capital Metro supported by Assistant Web Developer.
Test and optimize websites across browsers, operating systems and devices.
Monitor online traffic and conversions. Prepare and maintain monthly analytics reports and present as required.
Work with CMS content owners to ensure design and content accurately meet the specifications of the Capital Metro brand and that all content is timely and accurate.
Lead or assist in the development of project documents, timelines and goals.
Oversee the development of high quality detailed UI specifications for complex projects, including flow diagrams, wireframes, storyboards, mockups, prototypes and final documentation.
Manage updates and maintenance of site properties.
Work with Creative Team members to improve and refine visual design and consistency.
Present design and development work to the marketing department, leadership teams and executives for review and feedback.
Maintain, update and report on Web Maintenance Plan. Manage the plan matrix and ensure all task owners meet their responsibilities in a timely manner.
Work with Service Change Project Manager to oversee web implementation of three annual Service Changes and Special Event page development/updates.
Work with marketing and contractors to design and implement promotional pages and ensure appropriate analytics are captured and reported.
Ensure digital customer touchpoints remain consistent.
Proactively communicate status and updates to relevant stakeholders.
Work with Creative and Communications Teams to ensure integration of Capital Metro brand excellence and voice through all digital communications.
Ensure compliance for best practices for:
Application patching (Ektron version, PHP, etc system
Configuration management
Provide oversight of ServiceNow tickets for the website to ensure timely resolution of all issues being addressed by IT or Marketing resources
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design or related field. Experience can be substituted on a year for year basis up to four years.
Six (6) years of interactive design/information architecture experience as a key member of a team through the product development lifecycle of several successfully launched web, mobile, kiosk or desktop applications.
Experience in supervisory and/or lead duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced understanding of Information Architecture and User-Centered Design.
Strong understanding of how typography, layout, color, images, interactivity, and motion impact digital design.
Strong skills in creating mobile-first responsive website.
Experience working with cross functional teams within large, complex, corporate environment.
Experience designing for multiple customer segments across several product lines.
Advanced understanding of capabilities of Ektron or dot-net CMS, systems HTML, CSS and other web technologies is required.
Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and respond quickly to business needs.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines.
Extremely detail oriented, flexible to change and self-motivated.
High production values/strong quality assurance.
