Job Description :
Position:- UX Designer/ UX Architect
Location:- Fort worth, TX
Duration:- Full-Time Role

Job Description:-

An UX Architect’s job includes planning, process and strategy than the doing the pixel-pushing. The ability to facilitate requirements gathering, discovery, design and speak the language of business stakeholders is just as important as the production aspect, or tactical part of the job. They will be doing ideation, whiteboarding, journey mapping, card sorting, wireframing, prototyping, testing with users and presenting and gaining executive buy-in. And they should be able to share that knowledge with the client, and field questions about their experience with other projects, teachable moments, challenges they overcame, and be able to relate the strategy to Agile/Lean development process of design, test, and pivot.

A UX Designer on the other hand, is someone who focuses on the tactical aspect, and has little awareness of long term strategy or process improvements.

Also someone who has mentored or coached other members who are not UX practitioners would be ideal, as they are able to communicate using plain English, rather than technical jargon (Affordance, Cognitive Load, Heuristics, Gestalt theory, Chunking etc)
