Our client in the Philadelphia area is looking for a UX Designer to join their team. This is starting as a 6+ month contract role with a very well-known organization.

Position Description:
· Ensure a great user experience and iterate upon it with user-testing.
· Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly iterate/test your designs.
· Understand business requirements
o Conceive and conduct user research interviews and surveys
o Translate these into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
· Work on mobile and web products used by both internal applications and external customers.
· Facilitate product development by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products such as ecommerce mobile applications and websites.
· Translate concepts into wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
· Design/deliver wireframes, user journeys, user stories, and mockups optimized for a variety of interfaces and devices.
· Identify design problems and create solutions.
· Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, features and functions.
Required Skills:
· 3+ years of UX design experience
· Mobile-first and responsive design experience
· Understanding of the following:
o User-centered design (UCD)
o planning and conducting user research
o user testing
o A/B testing
o rapid prototyping
o heuristic analysis
o usability
o accessibility concerns
· Ability to intelligently and efficiently iterate solutions/designs.
· Enthusiasm about collaborating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
· Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
· Open-minded to receiving constructive criticism and feedback.
· Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
Bonus Skills:
· Experience with standard UX software, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript a bonus
· Experience with UX design targeted for the teen market a bonus
