UX Designer
Louisville, KY
6+ Months
Must have a strong online Portfolio.
+ Stay abreast and research trends in user experience, interaction design, and technology
+ Articulate and educate on interaction design principles
+ Working knowledge and experience in leading teams through agile/lean UX and design best practices
+ Plan and manage user experience design tasks
+ Collaborate with client, visual designers, engineers, and other disciplines
+ Design, perform and lead quantitative and qualitative research
+ Define user personas, scenarios, and use cases
+ Document information architecture and hierarchy
+ Create experience interaction models and conceptual frameworks
+ Develop flow diagrams, wireframes, site/page maps
+ Present UX design and obtain buy-in
Requirements
8+ Years of UX design experience for desktop and mobile applications
+ Strong conceptual and visual communications abilities
+ Strong client-facing presentation and communication skills
+ Extensive experience with user interface design patterns and standard user-centered design methodologies across multiple
platforms
+ Expertise in common UX and project management tools
+ Strong understanding of common software development practices
+ Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in interaction design, new media design, or related field
+ Willingness to work onsite at client locations in a consultative role
