Job Description:
UI/UX Expert working with the Small New Technology Program.

The consultant designer may need to adapt personal methods to the MDOT agile development methodology. Products are developed in a web-based java development environment which includes a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application architecture.

Software Engineer capabilities with 8-11 years of experience,

The consultant must be able to work closely with developers and analysts during the construction of designs. Cascading Style sheets, HTML5 and javascript development is desired.

Required Skills:
Developing low and high fidelity prototypes for UI design – Required 8 Years
Performing information architecture design for system UIs – Required 8 Years
Experience in usability assessments of software such as cognitive and heuristic walkthroughs as well as formal usability testing – Required 8 Years
Experience in Agile development methods – Required 4 Years
Experience in interface visual design – Required 8 Years
Experience in the use of the Axure prototyping / mockup software tool – Required 4 Years
Experience programming in Jquery and JavaScript framework – Required 4 Years
Experience writing HTML5 code – Required 8 Years
Experience developing cascading style sheets – Required 4 Years
