Position: UX Designer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Primary Skills:
Expert in UX Definition and Design stages
Working experience in all phases of entire User Experience Design Methodology
Strong expertise in creating UX Design concepts for rapid prototyping
Expert in designing UX solutions for Web, Mobile and other hand-held business and consumer devices
Data Gathering methods – Cognitive walkthroughs, Contextual Inquiry, Focus groups, Persona creation, User Research and Usability Testing
Must have paper/ rapid prototyping skills
Hands on – User Interviews, UX Research, Information Architecture , UX Analysis, Interaction Design & Responsive UX Design & Design for Devices
Experience working with project teams to implement overall UX strategy, create Interaction models, design effective Interactions through wireframes and prototypes
Taking Creative briefs or Visual Design requirements for the engagements
Strong expertise on Graphic/ Visual Design principles, Color theory
Strong expertise in creating Graphic/ Visual Design concepts from wireframes or abstract requirements
Design Graphic/ Visual mockups for variety of solutions – desktop, web, mobile (android, ios), devices (kiosks, handhelds, etc), moodboards, brands, etc
Experience performing Heuristic Evaluations and Usability Tests as well as documenting results and translating the findings into design improvements.
Must have strong turnaround skills backed with sound understanding of any given design problem
Strong communication and assertive skills
Should be able to sell / present Design to any audience
Sound knowledge of UI Development nuances

Visual Design Concepts, Visual Design Templates, Visual Design Style guides, Icons and other Graphic Asset creation ,UX Project Plans, UX Goals, Personas, Contextual Inquiry and User Interview findings, Information Architecture, Task Flows, Wireframes, Heuristic Evaluation, Expert Reviews , Produces wire frames & prototypes (using Axure), Runs user testing through expert agencies, Works closely with analysts & developers to reflect requirements in UI journeys

Education:
Bachelors or Masters in Product Design/ Visual Communication/ Applied Arts/ Design/ HCI or equivalent
