UX DESIGNER WITH ADA COMPLIANCE KNOWLEDGE is preferred
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, dedicated and have a strong desire for accuracy with details, and willing to roll up their sleeves to work hard.
This candidate will be able to assist in development by providing perspective of the individuals/end-users who will use the product.
Display solid understanding of the internal and/or external user, across a spectrum of disabilities, and provide recommendations a goal of delivering solutions that users find intuitive and easy to use.
These ideas must be supported with solid research and usability studies. Be able to communicate ideas through a variety of media, including wire frames, interaction designs and visual design and specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to evaluate existing user interface ( Web UI/ Mobile UI) and interactions, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Understanding of WCAG and ADA compliance as in pertains to User Interface design, ensure compliance and suggest solutions to improve usability.
Ability to design, organize and perform usability studies with an emphasis on accessibility.
Can provide clear evaluations of study findings and draw conclusions and suggest solutions for any issues exposed.
Communicate clearly, both in writing and speech, with peers and customers.
