Our reputable client, a leader in the payments industry, has an opening for a UX Designer to join their team. This is a 6 months contract with potential extensions in Foster City, CA.

Must have skills
6+ years’ experience with UX Design / Experience with Sketch & In Vision / Experience with building metrics/Devops/site reliability/KPI dashboards (need a designer to create innovative ideas to make our dashboards more user friendly, engaging and rich) /

Nice to have skills
Experience with small and medium size business / Master’s Degree

Roles and responsibilities
We are looking for an inspiring Sr. Staff UX Designer to help revolutionize the way people pay for goods online. You will be responsible for designing rich and intuitive user experience / user interfaces for our web and mobile products, under guidance of the BA/PMs of the team. This will include web and mobile applications, widgets libraries, and tool interfaces for our existing platform, payments, and mobile environments. The designs should satisfy simplicity, ease-of-use and a rich user experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will work closely and collaborate with the Product team, Development, and QA to create and build the ideal experience our customers need. Deliverables encompass everything that is needed to ensure proper documentation is created by you for everyone on the team to be able to understand the vision of the right experience both from an interaction and visual standpoint. This position requires you to be self-motivated, taking the vision and input from the BA and leaders of the team and creating the best user experience which will be signed off by leads. We''re a team that jumps in with both feet and does what needs to be done. You''ll work independently and perform multiple tasks from 2 different teams under minimal supervision. You''ll need to be able to deliver work on a deadline and will be critical to the overall release plan.



Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Areas:
Develop, Design, and Manage the user experience for internal stakeholders.
Build a world-class User Experience solution that supports the needs of the Visa digital solutions team and products
Act as a change agent, sparking fresh ideas that are infused in our culture and our products, with compliance to our Visa standards
Foster a deep and rewarding collaboration with the Product Managers, Engineers, Marketers, and our customers
Build the supporting documentation to insure success of a healthy User Experience team while delighting our customers.
Help maintain and build an easy to follow User Interface Guideline
Be an advocate for our customers

Qualifications
6+ years in related professional work experience in consumer payment, customer banking, e-commerce is preferred
Demonstrated expert knowledge in mobile platforms (Apple and Android) as well as web applications
Knowledgeable about accessibility guidelines and best practices.
Passionate about creating innovative user experiences to the point of obsession
Experience launching world class UX solutions for the web and mobile.
Expert knowledge of visual, UI and interaction design principles with an eye for details and consistency.
Passionate about new web & mobile technologies and techniques to help you build next gen user experiences.
