Position : Junior ETL/ BI Developer
Location : New Kensington, PA 15068
Duration : 6 months
Interview: Phone and F2F

Title: ETL/ BI Developer

We currently have an opportunity for a Junior ETL/ BI Developer. This would include design and development of programs using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract information from various ERP into the staging area. Also includes development of various artifacts using T-SQL for the setup of the Enterprise Datawarehouse (EDW The role will also require interactions with business users and infrastructure support teams so must have strong communication skills, be a team player, as well as ability to effectively prioritize and manage a wide variety of tasks.

1) How many reports did you generate?
2) Did you use Crystal Reports to pull your data?
3) Did you develop cube''s from scratch or modify existing cubes?
4) How many SSIS packages did you develop?

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in writing T-SQL scripts on various versions / SQL server
3+ years of experience related to SSIS for data integration/ETL technologies
2+ years of design and development experience in SSRS
5+ years of experience in using SSMS for design of tables, views, common table expressions, foreign key constraints, and stored procedures
3+ years of experience with complete SDLC lifecycle in this area, including but not limited to requirements gathering, data analysis, design, development, QA, deployment
Ability to accurately estimate the ETL and Data Architecture components of data integration, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting and Data Warehouse delivery projects
Strong analytical, attention to detail, organizational and core project management skills.
Strong teamwork, communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop and implement Store Procedures, Functions and other artifacts in TSQL for data migration from staging area to EDW
Design, develop and implement the ETL process using SSIS, including data quality and testing
Create/maintain project documentation to successfully implement IT-based solutions including: Project Plans
Functional/Technical Design documents
Develop Training materials focused on end-users for various business functions
Assist in the install and configuration of various MS-SQL BI infrastructure, utilizing referenced project documentation
Work with other team members as needed to implement solutions in a timely manner
Assist management with prioritization of projects and establishing accurate timelines for implementation
Enforce best technical practices for the BI infrastructure to enhance user experience

Education:

Master Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Mathematics
