The Enterprise Applications (EA) – Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer is responsible for providing ongoing technical support, design, document and implement various data flow processes and solutions for our Oracle EBS application. This individual will act as the Information Technology (IT) EA point of contact between the EA group and clients/business partners. This individual handles communication for EA change management, ongoing maintenance; coordinates between clients and internal IT EA support to ensure compliance; develop guidelines, checklists, procedures, and training documentation as required; and actively communicates with internal team members, management, end users to promote sound EA integration and related system improvements. Participation in system design and quality assurance activities are also responsibilities of the EA Applications Analyst. Success in this position requires a mix of technical knowledge and applied skills, analytical ability, clear written and verbal communication skills, and an understanding of system processes and production workflows.



ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



Ability to analyze current business processes and create an equivalent process to help improve business efficiency and reduce internal costs.
Configure the Oracle application to support company goals, standards, and policies utilizing Unix shell scripting, query database tuning, Oracle application framework extensions/personalizations and concurrent program setup
Create Process Flow documentation
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance on the use of the Oracle application.
Work with other internal cross-functional application developers to design requirements for software upgrades and interfaces between Oracle and other applications.
Train additional Subject Matter Experts (SME) as directed by management to support company’s long-term growth strategies.
Support testing activities.
Gather business requirements from stakeholders and document them in a clear, concise manner
Draft functional specification and technical specification documents (with preference for experience with Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) methodology BR.100 (app setup) and MD.50 (functional design), MD.70 (technical design) documents) for Oracle EBS R12.x
Work with project managers and other teams in relation to existing and new projects and rollout plans.
Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in an interrupt-driven environment.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.



Minimum 5 years technical/functional development experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.x
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oracle EBS R12.x architecture (database objects, personalizations, extensions, custom library, forms, screens, reports, etc and integrations between modules
Minimum 3 years’ experience in writing and modification of Fast Formulas
Minimum 5 years’ experience with SQL*Plus and PL/SQL
Minimum 2 years’ experience with EiS eXpress reporting tool for Oracle R12.x including automating and scheduling reports and reports development/modification
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Unix environment
Oracle Certified Developer a plus
Familiar with SOAP and REST web services/creating and calling these services a plus
Knowledge of JAVA a plus
Knowledge of ITIL a plus
Understanding of HIPAA regulations a plus
On Call Support during the day and off business hours

Experience in Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Costing and Billing

Familiar with Sub Ledger Accounting

Familiar with Procure to Pay process in AP

Familiar with Cash Management Bank setup

Familiar with Invoicing life cycle in Receivables, Applying Cash Receipts, Aging

Familiar with Fixed Assets Depreciation process

Month end close steps for Sub Ledgers (Receivables, Payables, Fixed Assets, and Projects)

Familiar with GL Posting

Familiar with Project Costing to Invoicing

Familiar with Sub Ledger Accounting Setup
