We are looking specifically for the answers to #4 and #5 to be yes Ive worked with Xamarin in custom development. here are some details of that project and ideally they have been launched/currently in use or in the app store. If they have only used Xamarin Forms they have not actually developed the code from scratch, they used an easier code generating type of tool that Xamarin produces for more basic use.
This group does hundreds and hundreds of lines of new code in Xamarin that is all custom work, they will have it target different devices, talk to the UI, create custom interfaces/controls for certain end customers of this product etc.
In this role the selected individual will design and develop customer facing, self-service mobile applications for iOS, Android, Windows, the web and internal business-facing mobile platforms that facilitate business interactions and provide access to customer data. Additionally, you will be responsible for programming, documenting, debugging and testing multiple business applications on-site and within the clients environment and interact with IT staff and business users as appropriate.
KEY DUTIES
- Analyze end user requirements and develop mobile applications that interface with existing systems
- Complete technical analysis, design, and coding for development and support initiatives
- Assist with code reviews, design solutions and complex issue research
- Provide production support as needed for multiple applications
- Perform as a technical advisor
- Assist in leading testing efforts
- Provide accurate and timely status reporting as needed, including task and time reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree and demonstrated experience delivering mobile application development solutions
- Knowledge of Xamarin and C#
- Knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns
- Knowledge of iOS/Android/Windows Mobile operating systems
- Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, Java and /or Objective C
- Knowledge of one or more key solution technologies including
o Objective-C
o Java
o HTML5 JavaScript
o Web services (SOAP. REST)
o XCode
- Experience with various development / delivery methodologies (i.e. Agile, SDLC, RAD, etc
- Familiarity with the following core technologies:
o Microsoft Technologies C#, ASP.Net, SQL, Visual Basic, C++, ASP, JavaScript, JSON, REST
o Web/Server Technologies IIS, .NET Framework, SSL, Browsers
o Relational Databases SQL Server, DTS Packages
