Position : UNIX/LUNIX/AIX Administrator
Work Location:-Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 12 months
Minimum years of experience: 9+ Years
Must Have skill :-
Problem and change management in UNIX environment.
Proficient in IBM AIX (Verison 5.x, 6.x, 7.x)
Experience in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning. - Certification on AIX(IBM System Administration)
In-Depth knowledge of LPARs and Micro partitioning virtualization environment.
Must have expertise in design, development and management of HACMP Cluster environment.
Should have worked with OEM hardware (IBM RS6000, 7038-6M2,7026-H70,7017-S85,7028-6C4, p5 & p6 servers)
Should have work experience on IBM high end servers (p590)
Should have experience in patch and package management is AIX environment.
Should have good knowledge of Shell scripting.
Should have work experience in LDAP, Tivoli. ï‚
Knowledge/experience in management and troubleshooting of Linux will be an advantage.
Patch and Package administration - Printer , NIS, NFS, Samba administration.
Strong knowledge in Configuration and administration of - VERITAS Volume Manager - Veritas Filesystem. - Veritas Cluster Server
Writing shell/perl scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task
