Job Title: UIE Engineer
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years’ experience in relevant technologies
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
Thorough knowledge and experience with user interface design patterns, visual design elements, web technologies, and development methodologies
Good knowledge of Object Oriented design and programming
Experience writing JavaScript unit tests (ex: Jasmine)
Experience writing/testing performant-based code using best practices
Experience with secure coding best practices and remediation
Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate technical issues to technical, non-technical, and management groups
Exceptional customer service attitude and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated skill with the following:
o HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript/DOM Scripting, UI frameworks (React, Bootstrap, Angular, Node, etc, AJAX, JSON, XML, Server Side Scripting languages (JSP, PHP, ASP), SQL, IDE (Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ, etc, Code repositories (SVN, CVS, Git, etc, Large-scale enterprise web application development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Desirable skills include:
o Java 7, J2EE (EJB, JNDI, JSP, Servlets, RMI), JBoss, Web Frameworks (JSF), A4J, Java Unit testing (TestNG, Mockito), PL/SQL /JDBC, Apache and Apache Tomcat web servers, Unix (RedHat), Agile Process Exposure (TDD/BDD)
