Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Deep understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript programming and JavaScript MVC frameworks
Good understanding of advanced Java Script libraries and frameworks, such as Angular 2, BackboneJS, underscore, Node.JS, Bower, Grunt/Gulp, bootstrap etc.
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Good understanding of responsive web development, single page application and SOA architecture concepts
Good understanding ADA compliance requirements, technical solutions and testing methodologies
Good understanding of web page mockups, UI wireframes
Good understanding of XML, XSLT, JSON and data structures
Good understanding of eclipse, sublime and other latest IDEs
Good understanding of web server concepts - Apache, IBM Http Server etc
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN
Good understanding of Windows and Unix commands
Good understanding UI unit testing concepts and frameworks, and excellent code documentation skills
