UI/UX Designer
Location-Rockville, Maryland
Supporting Federal Client
US Citizens and Green Card
We looking for a passionate Visual (UI/UX) Designer to support an agile and Human Centered Design (HCD) driven application modernization project.

Mandatory Requirements:
Expertise in developing high fidelity and dynamic mock-ups/clickable prototypes • Experience working with business analysts and front end developers on software development projects; working knowledge of front end languages (HTML/CSS) • Experience working in an agile environment Job Description • Collaborate with product owner, analysts and developer(s) to create a pipeline of product ideas to be implemented in the current platform • Execute on all phases of the design process – wireframing, prototyping, creating pixel-perfect comps ready for final hand-off to engineering. • Highly responsive designs for mobile, desktop and tablet • Participate/Lead to user interviews to determine problems and solutions for our users • Work closely with the HCD analysts on continuously optimizing the solution • Collaborate with other team members, show full interest in the overall business problem/solutions and the overall success of the team

Requirements
3-4 years of experience in UI, UX and product design • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript; you won''t be asked to code, but the solutions you design must be doable. • Presentation skills and ability to articulate ideas in a persuasive manner. • Ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment • Must present portfolio of previous work incorporating UI designs and/or sketches that demonstrate an understanding of interaction design and visual design. • Previous work on a product-based, design-thinking-enabled team, or enterprise B2B solutions • Experience creating user scenarios for usability testing, analysis of industry trends, and synthesis of research data into actionable insights • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, iRise, Sketch or vector-based UI tools - and a willingness to learn new tools as needed • Obsessive attention to even the smallest of details, but also able to understand timelines and full complexity of a project • Familiarity with conducting UI research and incorporating that feedback into design iterations in an Agile environment
