Location: McLean, VA
Position: UI Designer
Duration: 1 yearlong contract
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop dynamic user interfaces and general information architecture through best practices, including sketches, mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes
Participate in research, prototyping, experimentation, and design critique from abstract ideation to final implementation
Research and recommend industry & technology creative trends to produce cutting-edge user interfaces and increase user satisfaction
Partner with a cross-functional team to deliver highly desirable, usable, and tangible interactive experiences
Produce adaptive and holistic visual designs and information architecture through sketches, wireframes, illustrations, and other user-centered design methodologies
Minimum Qualifications:
The UI designer needs strong understanding of wire frames, journey maps, user research and able to create prototypes in azure, invasion, adobe XD types of tools.
BA/BS degree
Minimum 2 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer
Proficient in multiple digital tools used to implement UI/UX designs
Excellent visual design skills with a clear understanding of the current web and mobile best practices
Experience designing responsive and adaptive consumer-facing websites, apps and mobile experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with common design tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Balsamiq, Sketch, Axure or similar
Experience in designing for mobile apps and mobile web for iOS and Android
