UI/UX Designer Job Details
As an UI/UX Designer, you will be supporting the modernization effort of our customers portal application from a UI/UX perspective. The UI/UX designer will utilize their excellent communication skills for interacting with key stakeholders, process owners, and end users on a daily basis, work with the Business Analyst to refine the requirements and create visual designs of web, mobile, and portal interfaces.
UI/UX Designer Mandatory Skills
* Sketching, concept creation and wire-framing, producing sitemaps and user flows
* Ability to create prototypes
* Strong sense of design thinking and an eye for aesthetics
* Communicates clearly and often, but can work effectively independently
* Ability to create low-fidelity wireframes and quickly iterate based on feedback
* Able to synthesize multiple points of feedback into a thoughtful solution and response
* Demonstrated knowledge and ability to execute on good user experience
* Strong Knowledge and hands of experience on web technologies (HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript) and responsive design
* An understanding of front-end development frameworks such as Bootstrap 3/4Able to work successfully in a collaborative work environment Able to handle tight deadlines
* Experience working with portals (WebSphere and/or Liferay)Experience with UX testing methodologies
* Establish/Document UX pattern standards and design principles
* Experience working in an agile environment
* Using problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and independent thinking to overcome challenges.
* Communicating in writing and verbally and with clarity.

* BS degree (or higher) in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
