The client Verticals Design team has an opportunity for an exceptional design candidate to be a part of re-visioning our consumer buyer experiences in Motors, Fashion and other categories across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate would demonstrate an ability to craft beautifully simple, engaging and meaningful experiences within a complex ecosystem across any device. She/he would have a deep understanding of design principles, be current with interaction trends and exhibit technical savvy.
We’re looking for a passionate designer, a master of their craft, to join a larger project team in defining a new chapter in buying on Client. You will be an inspired partner to a group of designers, researchers and content strategists committed to developing innovative, tailored, beyond-easy-to-use, best-of-breed mobile & desktop products for our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Team spirit: Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, Content Strategists, Research and other designers to help define the best user experience for our products.
Versatility: Work as effectively individually as well as within a team of other designers.
UX Foundations: Strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into best-in-class interaction and design solutions.
Holistic solutioning: Champion a cohesive flow with multiple design touchpoints. Bring a 10,000ft view perspective to influence teams working at the 10 ft level. Ensure that multiple buyer experience touchpoints maintain a cohesive quality that maps to our design principles.
Master of your craft: Ability to translate user goals and behaviors into artfully crafted design ideas. Able to create workflow diagrams, wireframes, and mockups rapidly and at the right level of fidelity (e.g., sketching and whiteboarding, to wireframes, to polished visual deliverables and richly animated proposals that tell compelling UX stories
Information gatherer: Assess data from multiple sources (product requirements, tech constraints, UX research, web analytics) and synthesize it in order to develop efficient user scenarios, taxonomies, navigation systems, design patterns, etc.
User Centricity: Help define, request and incorporate relevant and recent UX research and data from customers to appropriately inform design decisions. Help establish UX guidelines and style across platforms.
Design Intuition: Be passionate about metrics, but have confidence in making judgment calls. Be uncompromising on creating a compelling product and user experience founded in usability, efficiency, and scalability.

REQUIREMENTS
3+ years experience Designing for similar companies in the industry.
Stellar visual design skills (attention to detail, typography, color, layout)
Experience in leading holistic design solutions across mobile and desktop devices.
Designing for eCommerce a plus.
Excellent grasp of design thinking and process including Product/Interaction/Visual, with the ability to move from whiteboarding to layout to pixel-perfect handoff.
Expert communication and presentation skills with ability to clearly present your work; you are articulate and can advocate design rationale.
A team player with a passion to learn and grow.
Expert level ability in Sketch, InVision, Zeplin and Adobe CS.
Bachelor''s or Master’s Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related discipline
