Job Description :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience with minimum of 7+ years of IT experience.
Required Skills:
UDB DBA with strong skills on Installs, configure, and validate DB2 latest release across multiple environments.
Create and maintain database standards.
Proactively monitor server and database process health to ensure availability and performance.
Experience in DB tools like OPM, IBM Data Server Manage
Engineering on New DB2 features and IBM tools.
Good understanding of shell scripting
Should have experience in Producing technical documentation.
Exposure to Production support & implementation support experience on Unix/AIX platforms.
Good exposure to UDB DBA maintenance activities like reorgs, runstats, back-up, restore, expanding and reducing the tablespaces etc.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customer
Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings
