Required Skills:

· Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c (OEM) - required Required 5 Years

· Knowledge of large computer systems, networks,databases,relational database administration,database tools, high level computer languages, & PC systems Required 5 Years

· Knowledge of the fundamental principles, theories, techniques, and methodologies of data processing systems analysis. Required 5 Years

· Knowledge of computer programming, data modeling, and object oriented programming procedures, techniques and applicable tools. Required 5 Years

· Ability to prepare detailed written instruction and documentation. Required 5 Years

· Ability to express complex technical concepts at a level appropriate to the audience, both verbally and in writing. Required 5 Years

· Knowledge of UNIX scripting and UNIX system administration. Required 5 Years

Job Description:

This Oracle DBA position has backup responsibility for the Oracle databases for the Department of Treasury

This Oracle Database Administration position has backup responsibility for the Department of Treasury and the Oracle databases. This database administration position supports the future implementation and conversion to new database technologies that have statewide impact on the Department of Treasury. This position is the expert on database performance tuning: - identifying and solving minor and major bugs, and issues on a twenty-four by seven basis; providing ongoing productions support regarding creating database objects. In addition this position works with developers and others to support their ability to use the data to further the interests of the agencies. This includes data cleanup, conversions, running scripts, synchronizing versions, database upgrades and providing expertise in Structure Query Language (SQL) and Procedure Language/ Structure Query Language (PL/SQL) coding to other agency Information Technology (IT) staff.
